Autumn has come indeed and instead of whining for the summer past, it would be much better to rediscover some joys of the cosy atmosphere the season brings. And since a lot of these little pleasures in the coming months will be food related, better make sure they would be also healthy!
As you know, our ice cream is not too sweet, which makes it the perfect accompaniment to many dishes, besides the obvious pairing with desserts. We have shared with you already one of our favourite recipes for a squash soup that becomes a heavenly dish with a scoop of Coppa della Maga Sesame & Honey on top. Now, we would like to present to you our suggestion for a dessert that could be enjoyed also as a healthy start of the day:
Ingredients:
- 1 squash
- 1 tub of Coppa della Maga Classic Vanilla, Amaretto or Crunchy Nougat
Method:
- Wash and clean the squash from the seeds and cut it in big slices;
- Put in a tray with some water, cover with foil and bake for about 20 min (180 C degrees) until it becomes soft;
- Take out and serve still warm with a large scoop of Coppa della Maga.
You may decorate with some nuts, or if you already have them in the ice cream you just need a spoon to enjoy!
